Jan. 8th and 9th, 2010

The Nex-Trax Canadian Arenacross series was alive and pumping this past weekend. The Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki Team was ready to do battle with Canada’s elite Arenacross racers. With a short break over the holidays the team was exited to return to the podium, and they didn’t disappoint.

Round 6

MX2 Main: Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki rider Brock Hoyer came out of the gate strong and finished in 3rd. Also looking fast, his teammate, White Rock, B.C. native, Brady Sheren could only make it into 5th.

Open Main: The team put their heads down and stepped it up for the Open. Both Brock and Brady had great starts and battled to the finish flag for a solid 2nd (Brock) and 3rd (Brady).

  Round 7
MX2 Main: After the Friday night finish’s the team was energized to repeat. Brady Sheren pulled out of the gate with a solid start and finish 2nd and his teammate Brock was right on his heels finishing 3rd.

Open Main:  Bang! This was the race to watch. Fans were on their toes as the Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki Team rode to a 1-3 podium finish. Brady Sheren grabbed the lead early in the race and never looked back finishing 1st. Brock Hoyer was not too far behind finishing in 3rd.

What a perfect finish to the weekend. Brady Sheren grabs his first Arenacross victory at Chilliwack and Brock Hoyer shows his consistency with podium presence as he sits in 2nd place for both MX2 and Open Championships. This wraps up the Nex Trax Canadian Arenacross Championships in Chilliwack, B.C. leaving a two round final to happen in Penticton, B.C. on March 12th and 13th, 2010.
